Global Village Season 31 Tickets: What Do They Cost, and Is It Still Dubai’s Best-Value Day Out?

Global Village Season 31 tickets cost AED 25 for a Monday–Thursday weekday ticket and AED 30 for an any-day ticket, both including VAT and unchanged from Season 30 (as of 23 October 2026). Children under 3, adults 65+ and People of Determination with one companion enter free. Sunday now needs the AED 30 ticket. For a family of four on a weekday that is AED 100, the cheapest big day out in Dubai we priced.

KALQLATER ASSESSMENT

Is Global Village still Dubai’s best-value day out?

Yes, on price per hour it still wins: a family of four pays AED 100 on a weekday for an 8–9 hour evening, about AED 11–13 an hour. The same family pays AED 155 at Dubai Frame, AED 380 at Dubai Miracle Garden and AED 1,180 at Legoland Dubai. Food, rides and parking are where the bill grows.

Global Village opened its 31st season on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027; the exact closing date has not been announced. Gate prices did not rise. The only ticket change is that the cheaper weekday ticket now covers Monday to Thursday, so Sunday visitors pay AED 30 instead of AED 25.

That makes entry the cheap part of a visit. Rides at Carnaval, Wonder Pass attractions and shows are sold separately, and food runs from about AED 5 for a skewer to AED 45–50 for most dishes at the Floating Market, according to Gulf News’ Season 31 guide. Our view: Global Village is still the best-value ticket in Dubai, but only if you budget for what happens after the gate.

The best-value night is Thursday

Thursday is the only day that combines the AED 25 weekday ticket with the 1am closing time. That is 9 hours for AED 25, or AED 2.78 per person per hour, the lowest of any night of the week.

Global Village ticket price 2026: Season 31 vs Season 30

Season 31 tickets are AED 25 (weekday, Monday–Thursday excluding public holidays) and AED 30 (any day), exactly the same as Season 30. The difference is validity: last season’s weekday ticket covered Sunday to Thursday, so a Sunday visit now costs 20% more.

Tickets are sold on the Global Village website and app and at the gates. As of 23 October 2026 the official site lists one price per ticket type and does not show a separate online discount; its booking page said the ticketing system was still being prepared when we checked. Ride passes, events and Wonder Pass attractions cost extra.

Children aged 3 and over pay the full adult price. There is no child ticket at Global Village, which matters for families: a 5-year-old and a 10-year-old each need a AED 25 or AED 30 ticket.

Buy only from official channels

VIP packs sold out quickly and Dubai Police have warned about fake sellers and unusually cheap offers. Entry tickets are sold through globalvillage.ae, the official app and the gates; VIP packs were sold only through the Coca-Cola Arena website.

KALQLATER CALCULATION

How much does a family of four pay at Global Village vs other Dubai attractions?

A family of two adults and children aged 5 and 10 pays AED 100 at Global Village on a weekday, AED 120 at weekends. That is less than Dubai Safari Park (AED 200) and Dubai Frame (AED 155), and about one-twelfth of Legoland Dubai’s from-price (AED 1,180).

Cost per hour flatters Dubai Frame, which is open 12 hours but is a single viewing attraction most people do not stay in all day. Miracle Garden limits visits to three hours, so we used that cap rather than its 12 opening hours. Global Village is the only option here where an evening-long stay is the normal visit.

How we did the sum

Global Village weekday: 4 people × AED 25 = AED 100; ÷ 9 hours on Thursday = AED 11.11 per hour. Legoland: 4 × AED 295 = AED 1,180; ÷ 7 hours = AED 168.57. Burj Khalifa: the 10-year-old is over the 8+ adult threshold, so 3 × 161 + 127 = AED 610. IMG Worlds was showing a promotional AED 199 price on Platinumlist; at that price a family pays AED 796.

SEASON 31

Global Village Season 31: what’s new this year?

Season 31 has 29 pavilions covering more than 90 cultures, one fewer than Season 30’s 30, plus a new Tokyo Rush roller coaster arriving later in the season. New shows, refreshed pavilions and new places to eat make up most of the rest.

  • Pavilions 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures. Sri Lanka and the Russia and Azerbaijan pavilion have updated experiences; Syria and Kuwait have new façades. Season 30 had 30 pavilions, and reopened in April 2026 without an Iran pavilion, according to The National.
  • Rides Carnaval returns with Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City. The Festival Wheel has refreshed carts. A new roller coaster, Tokyo Rush, with a loop, is due later in the season; no date has been announced.
  • Shows New: Fast Live 2: The Police Strike Back (stunt show), Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist (acrobatics). Slam returns, and Care Bears and PJ Masks appear at the Kids Theatre. Organisers quote about 40,000 shows across the season.
  • Food New at Restaurant Plaza: Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking. New cafés: Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café. Dessert District returns with a new look.
  • Visitor upgrades Self-pay machines for VIP parking, more ticket counters at Happiness Gate, extra family washrooms, a WhatsApp chatbot, a redesigned Season 31 Passport and a new Kids Passport for collecting stamps. RTA has also brought back two electric abras on the park’s waterways.

The scale figures are broadly unchanged from recent seasons: more than 3,500 shops, more than 250 dining options and more than 200 rides and attractions, according to the Season 31 opening release carried by TradeArabia and Gulf News.

TREND

How many people visit Global Village each season?

The last published figure is 10.5 million visitors in Season 29 (2024–25), up from 7.8 million in Season 26, a 35% rise in three seasons. Global Village had not published a Season 30 total as of 23 October 2026; that season lost 51 days to a conflict-related closure.

Each season set a record. Season 26 ran 194 days and Season 27 ran 188 days, which works out at roughly 40,200 and 47,900 visitors a day respectively (KalQLater calculation). Day counts for Seasons 28 and 29 were not given in the releases we opened.

Growth arithmetic

10.5 ÷ 7.8 − 1 = +34.6% from Season 26 to Season 29. Season 28 to 29: 10.5 ÷ 10.0 − 1 = +5.0%. Daily averages: 7.8m ÷ 194 = 40,206; 9.0m ÷ 188 = 47,872.

CONTEXT

Did Dubai’s 2026 tourism slump hit Global Village?

Yes, directly: Global Village closed from 28 February to 20 April 2026, 51 days of a season that was extended to 31 May to compensate. Dubai received 6.97 million international tourists in January–August 2026, down 44% from 12.54 million a year earlier, according to Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.

Global Village shut as a precaution after US and Israeli strikes on Iran at the end of February. Dubai Parks and Resorts also closed on 3 and 4 March, Khaleej Times reported. Global Village reopened at 5pm on 20 April 2026, after a ceasefire, and later pushed its closing date from 10 May to 31 May to cover Eid Al Adha.

Season 30 opened on 15 October 2025 and closed on 31 May 2026: 229 calendar days, of which about 178 were open days after the closure (KalQLater calculation). That is fewer open days than Season 26’s 194, so a Season 30 total below Season 29’s 10.5 million would not be surprising. No figure had been released when we checked.

The broader picture matters for Season 31. Dubai’s 6.97 million visitors in January–August 2026 is 5.57 million fewer than the same period of 2025. August was the strongest month since February at 869,000. Fewer tourists likely means a park leaning more heavily on UAE residents, which may explain why prices were frozen rather than raised. That last point is our inference; Global Village has not said why.

Other attractions reopened on schedule

Dubai Parks and Resorts reopened on 7 October, Dubai Miracle Garden on 8 October for its 15th season and Dubai Safari Park on 12 October for Season 8, all before Global Village’s 14 October opening.

VIP PACKS

Global Village VIP pack 2026: prices and are they worth it?

Season 31 VIP packs cost AED 1,890 (Silver) to AED 7,900 (Diamond), 1.6% to 5.0% more than Season 30. The Silver pack breaks even on entry tickets alone only after 63 any-day visits, so it pays off mainly for heavy users who value VIP parking.

The value depends on how many tickets you actually use. Silver’s 100 tickets are worth AED 3,000 at the any-day price, but a family of four would need to visit 16 times to use 63 of them, the break-even point on tickets alone. The parking voucher and Wonder Pass points add value, but the packs’ published details do not say how many days a parking voucher covers or what a Wonder Pass point is worth in dirhams.

Pre-orders ran 21–25 September and general sale opened on 26 September through the Coca-Cola Arena website, with a limit of one pack per Emirates ID and a AED 30 delivery fee. Khaleej Times reported that the Mega packs sold out in pre-booking. One pack contains a AED 31,000 cheque.

Break-even arithmetic

AED 1,890 ÷ AED 30 = 63 any-day tickets. 63 ÷ 4 people = 15.75, so 16 family visits. At the AED 25 weekday price: 1,890 ÷ 25 = 75.6 tickets, or 19 family visits. If a VIP parking voucher replaces AED 200-a-day VIP parking, each visit saves an extra AED 200, which shortens the break-even sharply, but the voucher terms were not published in the sources we checked.

PLANNING

Global Village Season 31 opening hours: when is the best time to visit?

Global Village opens 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. For the lowest price and the longest night, go on Thursday; for a quieter visit, go early on a Monday–Wednesday.

Global Village does not publish crowd data. The clearest signal is its parking plan: overflow lots P7 to P11 open only on weekends, public holidays and other busy days, which tells you when the park expects the biggest crowds. Tuesdays (except public holidays) are reserved for families, couples and ladies.

The weather also matters. The park is open-air and closes each summer because of the heat, so November to March evenings are the most comfortable. Opening night drew a choir, the Parade of the World and a 600-drone show; weekly parades and fireworks are expected through the season.

TRANSPORT

How do you get to Global Village? Bus routes and parking fees

RTA runs four seasonal bus routes (102, 103, 104 and 106) from metro and bus stations, roughly 3:15pm to 11:15pm, taking about 30 minutes. Parking is free in lots P1, P3 and P5; paid parking costs AED 75 or AED 120 a day, and VIP parking AED 200.

Route origins differ slightly between Global Village’s own page (CentrePoint and Union metro stations) and the RTA announcement reported by Gulf News (Al Rashidiya and Union bus stations); these are adjacent stops. Frequencies come from the RTA announcement. Neither source states a special fare. Timetables are on 800 9090.

Parking can cost more than the tickets

A family of four in Paid Parking pays AED 120 for parking and AED 100 for weekday entry. Using a free lot or the bus roughly halves the cost of the night.

PRACTICAL

What should you do to get the best value at Global Village?

Go Monday to Thursday, buy the AED 25 weekday ticket through official channels, park free or take the bus, and set a food and ride budget before you go. For a family of four that keeps the fixed cost at AED 100.

  1. 1
    Pick a weekday

Monday to Thursday tickets are AED 25; Sunday is now AED 30. Thursday gives you the extra hour to 1am at the weekday price.

  2. 2
    Check who is free

Children under 3, adults 65 and over and People of Determination with one companion enter free with ID. Everyone else aged 3+ pays full price.

  3. 3
    Buy from official channels

Use globalvillage.ae, the official app or the gate. Ignore cheap VIP pack resellers; Dubai Police have warned of fakes.

  4. 4
    Avoid paid parking

Lots P1, P3 and P5 are free and 400–450m from the Gate of the World. Buses 102, 103, 104 and 106 also run to the park.

  5. 5
    Budget for extras

Rides, Wonder Pass attractions and food are extra. Most Floating Market dishes cost AED 45–50, and Gulf News puts a meal for two at about AED 90–120.

  6. 6
Skip the VIP pack unless you visit often

The cheapest pack needs about 16 family visits to pay back on tickets alone.

REALITY CHECK

METHODOLOGY

How we built this analysis

  • Ticket prices and free-entry rules are taken from globalvillage.ae as of 23 October 2026 and cross-checked against Khaleej Times’ 8 October 2026 report, which confirmed Season 31 prices match Season 30.
  • Family-of-four cost assumes two adults and children aged 5 and 10, non-resident general admission, and each venue’s own age or height rules: Global Village 4 × AED 25 = AED 100 (weekday) or 4 × AED 30 = AED 120; Dubai Frame 2 × 52.50 + 2 × 25 = AED 155; Miracle Garden 2 × 100 + 2 × 90 = AED 380; Safari Park 4 × 50 = AED 200; Burj Khalifa 3 × 161 + 127 = AED 610; Legoland 4 × 295 = AED 1,180; IMG Worlds 4 × 365 = AED 1,460.
  • Cost per hour = family cost ÷ hours open that day (Global Village 8 or 9; Dubai Frame 12; IMG Worlds 10 Sunday–Thursday; Legoland 7). For Miracle Garden we divided by its three-hour maximum stay. Venues without published hours in our sources are left blank.
  • Visitor growth = Season 29 ÷ Season 26 − 1 = 10.5 ÷ 7.8 − 1 = 34.6%. Daily averages use season lengths given in the Season 26 (194 days) and Season 27 (188 days) releases.
  • Season 30 closure = 28 February to 19 April 2026 inclusive (reopened 20 April) = 51 days; season length 15 October 2025 to 31 May 2026 = 229 days.
  • VIP pack change = Season 31 price ÷ Season 30 price − 1 (e.g., Silver 1,890 ÷ 1,800 − 1 = 5.0%). Break-even = pack price ÷ AED 30 any-day ticket.

Limitations

Global Village does not publish crowd counts by day or a Season 30 attendance total, so we cannot say how many people visited during the 2026 slump. Comparison prices for Dubai Frame, Burj Khalifa, IMG Worlds and LEGOLAND Dubai come from Platinumlist ticketing pages, which show ‘from’ prices that can change daily; Miracle Garden child prices were reported as AED 80 excluding VAT in September and AED 90 including VAT in October, and we used the later figure. VIP parking voucher terms and Wonder Pass point values were not published in the sources we checked. Prices are as of 23 October 2026 and can change. This is consumer information, not financial advice.
